Anyone running Nitto Terragrapplers?
Hi there. I would like to run the 265 75 16 terragrappler but noticed they are only offered in Rating D and E. Would D be too solid? As in make a rough ride compared to running a C of another tire? Also anyone that has them do they run rough? Too bad because I hear nothing but good news on this A/T.

i have terras and i love them!!! they dont ride too bad i have my bars cranked abot 80% and there not to bad. idk if its the tires or the tbar crank that makes it rough or a combo of the two but that are a little rough. im not sure what my load rating is but i can get it to you later. ive run them off road a bit and love them. they have never left me stuck(but never wheeled super hard) they have lasted decent and fairly priced. id def get them again baised on performance and price and looks. but im the type where i like different tires every time lol. but there great tires and would really recc. them

Good street/trail riding tire combo

Thats weird my Toyo ATs were hands down the best tire I have had in the rain and on the street! Better then my BFG's my MTs and of course the stock RTS wranglers. and like Kyle said I have 35K on mine and still have 65-70 percent tread. Anything off pavement was a different story though.

Just want to point out toyo has won numerous awards from tire review magazine which includes 8 years running top quality award. And back to the main point. TOYO MAKES NITTOS. Lol. So saying nitto has better reviews is reduntant.
I sell (on average) 4 or 5 sets a day and have NEVER had a customer complain about the ride or traction. As with ALL tires you get the occasional set that doesn't last as long as they should have. This is why any good company provides a mileage warranty and any good tire shop will honor that and pro-rate them out and give you your due and make it right.

you want to bring magazines into this do you? According to them the ranger is an outdated pos but most of this site still loves rangers regardless.

Ummmmm ok. I'm not the one calling ANY brand a "pos, pile of...etc"
Sucks you had a bad experience with them though! I can say I had the same experience with the bfg at's too though. 16k and zero tread left on my friends explorer. Like I said there's always a bad set here and there across all the brands. And all it takes is one bad experience to totally change someones view and opinions.
The OP asked about the nittos let's get it on back on track capiche?
