tire Questions

Ok so i'll have 6 inchs of lift by sunday.....so here my question i want to go with an agressive tire but i still want to be able to get alot of life out of them..this truck is my only way around and no i don't go offroading alot..but the roads here do get muddy when it rains....and when i think of an agressive tire i think interco...but i think there rubber is to soft and won't last that long ..but what are some other options.. i'm looking for a 35x12.50 or 34x11.50 inch tire.."rember i have an XLT so it's about 2 inchs shorter than an edge stock"...so what are some options for me on an agressive tire that yall have had goo life out of but yet preformance when you needed it...

The coopers I was reading in a Four wheeler mag they were listing the best tires for 2005. and there were high remarks for the cooper st. Also I personaly don't do that much mudding, and I am going to get Dueler A/T Revos I have heard from many people that they realy love this tire

I have 25000 miles on my Cooper Discoverer S/T's and they are still going strong. I actually wore them funny putting them on too narrow a rim for the design and they are still going to go at least 40,000 and if I hadn't screwed them up, a lot farther!

I'd buy them again. Go to my CarDomain site and scroll through the first page for shots of them on the truck.

i've also heard good about Cooper....i have Goodyear AT/S tires, but i wish i could have upgraded to the Wrangler MT/R tires....they're so sweet..

bsically rotate u're tires every 5k miles (i do mine @ 3, alone with my oil change) dont do too many burnouts, dont chirp the tires, etc, and they should last u a LONG time.

and interco tires do look awesome, they perform awesome as well...but u're in the same boat as me, we dont do enuf off roading to qualify buying those kind of tires, especially when the tread life wont last u 6 months

BFG A/ts are also good wearing tires, i used to have a set of 33x12.50 BFG A/ts on my 93 ranger and they still have life left on them after 40k miles. They do pretty good in the mud, ive never had it stuck.
