tire width?

could i fit a 12 inch wide tire on an 8 inch rim?

stock ranger wheels are 7's. MAX I would run on them are 11.50's.

yea i think they are 7's, i got a real good deal on these tires, man i wanted to run them to lol

Go up.....go wide. Why didn't you follow that rule? Usually, following that requires new wheels to widen your stance.

buy them & hang on 2 um till u run across a deal on 8's

i didnt get them yet, thats y i asked to see if they would or not, there 4 super swampers for only $150

lol yea i know thats y i think i might buy them and then just wait for a deal on like an 8 or 10 inch rim, so i can widen my stance

if you really wanted to, you can run those on the stock rims. go over to pirate4x4 and do a search. everyones running wide tires on skinny rims. ill be running 38.5x14.5 on a 8" rim.

you have a greater chance of losing a bead with a wider rim then a skinnier one.
