What do I need to buy?
To run 33's on my 2001 Ranger Extended Cab (2wd)?
I want to keep my rims, just make the tires a little bigger and lift it to make it look like this truck. I don't necessarily need an 8" lift though, and cheap-o parts are fine with me, this truck won't ever be touching any dirt, haha.
(I don't know how to tell what I have (gear wize and suspension type, but I believe it's coilover)).

Well you can get a 5.5" lift (mde by fabtech, etc) and that will allow you to run 32s. The only problem with going beyond a 32" tire is the stock rims are only 7" wide and it isnt the best thing to run larger then a 11" wide tire on them (IE a 33x12.5)...
If you want to go beyond that you can add a bodylift and be able to run 33s easily; probably a bit larger.

You've got coils, so you can't crank your t-bars. You can, however, add coil-spacers, which are the cheapo lift alternative. That'll mess with your camber though and will make your tires wear poorly on the edges. I'd go with a decent suspension lift like the fabtech 5.5" lift. Get yourself some 15x8" wheels and some 33x12.5x15 tires and you'll have a sharp-lookin' truck that'll be done right.
As far as your gearing, look on the door jamb and find where it says "axle code" and that will tell you what gear ratio and axle you have. You'll have to find the chart that lists what they are, but you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it with a search.

buy Kumho for cheap quality wheels. I bought my 35 inch MT/Rs for 600 shipped to my door. You can get 33 inch All terrains for less.
Also, it's good you have the 8.8. I would upgrade to 4.10 gearing for your speed back, which means basically you could pickup a junkyard ranger rearend 8.8 with 4.10 gearing and swap it with yours.
Wheels can be as cheap as 140$ a set, or you can buy a nice set for 350.
