Locking Lugnuts revisited

I forgot all my info on the last thread I made.

What thread lugnuts are are on the rangers? I am getting lost on what I need to purchase from summit can you guys help me out?

I need Chrome Locking lugnuts but dont even know where to start looking on summits site so can you help me choose a set out?

if you are calling Summit, they can tell you what you need......when i ordered mine, i just called them up and said i wanted McGuard (the 1's that wont rust or peal) lug nuts for a Ranger....

rangers have a 1/2 inch stud. i'd recommend getting some gorilla locks.

Did you go with locking lugnuts?

Also How much does it run for a 4 sets of 5 usually?

Well, being I will be getting Alcoas soon, I want some decent chrome lugnuts to go with it. I was going to put chrome covers over the nuts lug nuts, but it seems this may be a pointless endeavor. Any recommendations?

This may help you a bit, they aren't the typical locking nuts, though.

Here are the ones that I bought for the DC-1s and they are similar to the stock ones I had

those are the exact lugs and locks i have on my truck. the reason i like gorillas is because they dont strip out as easily as the dealer locks. of course you want to order chrome ones instead of the black ones in the link.

i didn't get locking nuts, simply because i lose things a lot....and i don't want to lose the key to the locks......

it cost me like $50 for the complete set of nuts.....they are guaranteed for life not to rust, peal or chip the chrome off....

all i see is black plated steel ones in that link and the search results I do not see any chrome gorilla locking lugnuts?

yes just go to a local tire store and they should be able to sell you a set for like $20.
