Just ordered my Soft 8s

Just ordered my 15x7 black cragar soft 8s for my truck its at stock height and im wondering how 30 inch tires will clear? Also im trying to stay on a budget so can you recommend me some cheap but good brand of tires that are kinda aggresive offroad. Thanks.

My daughter put 31's on an unlifted 1998 4x2 and they fit with very minor rubbing on full lock over bumps. You should be okay.

What kind of offroading do you do? Also, what backspacing did you get on those wheels?

I got the 4 inch backspacing. Only offroading i will do is down some fire roads and thru some little mud holes nothing really major its only 2wd i mainly wanted the wheels and tires for looks.

You should be fine. That's pretty close to stock backspacing really and Candice (the daughter) was using stock 15x7's on her truck. It toughens up the look considerably without pushing the tires out so far they're a problem.

You will lose some get up and go, though. Didn't hurt or help the mileage from what I could tell.

Another one of my son-in-law's has been driving the truck lately and he's beat the snot out of it and it's still chugging along.

Ya well i figure i will put a cold air intake on and a flowmaster 40 series exhaust that should help with spinning them.
