how do you think a set of 32 m/t or maybe a/ts would look mounted on some 17s? or possibly 18s? aiming for black rims. trying to see what others think about it or if anyone has some.

 

ummmm kinda small, y do you want such big rims????? tires cost an *** ton for anything decent with rims that big......

32's you got your 265/70/17 roughly 31.5" tall
and 275/70/17(first pic) ~32.2" tall

33's you got the 285/70/17(second pic) ~33 even
and 305/70/17 which is almost a 34" tire

many companies are makin 33x12.50x17's now also.

 

I agree I think the 32s would be a touch on the small side for a rim that big. Personally, I wouldn't use a 17" wheel on anything smaller than a 35" tire, but I like alot of sidewall and I like hitting curbs

I dunno why I would want bigger rims, I was just trying to get an idea of how it would look. Ive got 16s now, hate my tires. So my next set Im trying to figure out, Ive never liked the look of small rims and a lot of side wall. say 15s and 33s. Ive got 16s on 29s right now and it looks okay, but just time for some new rims and tires. The wheels are going to more then likly be black, I dont like chrome one bit. This set of tires and rims will be my onroad tires, Im thinking the Nitto Terra Graplers in a 265/70/17 and the pro comp extreme alloys, the black ones. then get some 32x12.50 tsl's to put on my old 15" rims for offroading.

 

orrrrr just get ya one sweet *** set of rims and tires and call it a day, terra grapplers are awsome tires but everyone on this site is going to tell ya to get bfg a/t's which isnt abad choice either.......just remember though like i said before bigger rims mean more money each time you buy tires, maybe go with 16's just to save a few bucks, ive got 265/75/16's and they dont have alot of side wall but i wouldnt be scared to take them offroading and fear bashing my rim or like gearhead said and bash the **** out of some curbs.......
