They are not hard to balance, they just take alot of weight and need to be rebalanced often. the cupping could have been caused by alignment, balance, or weak shocks. Once a tire starts to cup, there is nothing you can do to "fix" the tire. If the cause of the cupping is fixed a new set of tires should not cup. what year is your truck....'04?

 

throwing another possible problem out there. I let the fronts get out of hand. After getting a front end alignment I put the fronts on the back. They are bouncing up and down until I get the treads even again from driving it out of alignment.

I can see it after I drive on a dusty road. The dust gets on the tires where the contact is being made.

 

Do a nice burnout on blacktop, enough to burn off the high spots, then get them rebalanced

 

i have the same problem but unfortunately i cant do a burn out with 33
