ok well im running 31 1050 15 right now in a wrangler mtr but there cooked so i was wondering what a good idea would be for a non lifted ranger ie- what will fit. if anyone hase pics of 32s and 33s without a lift that would be great and maybe some tire ideas the new wrangler duratrac's dont look to bad.

They dont look "cooked" but anyway I think 32's with a slight t-bar crank would fill the wheel tubs and have a sick stance

I wouldn't go 33's without a BL. Too much tire IMO without a lift. I believe thesoundmaster has 33's without a lift and he says it rubs alot.

Go BL and 35's

 

35's are a little much for me even though i want to. my last mtrs lasted me from 60-70% tread about 18000km or about 11000mi im not impressed

That's too bad. If you aren't impressed with the tire life of the MTR then I don't think any mud tire will tickle your fancy. Take a look at some BFG AT's (even though everyone and their dog has them) They last quite a while and won't wear out near as quick as mud tires.

 

im thinking of the wrangler duratracs but theres new no-one has them si i dunno which ones to go with

 

Get some Mickey Thompson MTZ's

3" BL and 35's FTW though...

Just noticed that your truck is an 08, so dont get 35's. Something about the 06 + rangers, they dont sit as high from the factory as the 98-05 rangers.

 

actually i think its the 08+
because my 07 sits higher then the new ones. well now obviously. but it did before the lift too. someone at my school has an 08 fx4 and parked right next to him, both of us on stock y spoke wheels and wranglers rt's i sat about an inch higher or so.

and stock ranger on 33's

 

I couldnt remember what year they started sitting lower. Come to think of it Hoz's truck is an 06(Yellow one in the pic), so it was later when they started sitting lower.

 

I'm about to order tires and should I go 32" tires over 31" as well? I'm just running a stock 2001 4x4 Off-Road and I'm not planning on lifting it..

 

man, somthin must be wrong with my truck. I got 31's and they rub like hell. Maybe its because I have a 2wd. But then again, I roll up next to the 4x4s and I sit just as high. I have BFG Muds BTW.

 

Go with the 32's. You will have to do a slight T-bar crank and take off the mudflaps in front. Otherwise you'll be ok.

 

.... Why would you get BFG muds for a 2wd?

 

what are the specs on your wheels size & backspacing. if your rubbing now /w 31s youll really rub with any thing bigger. it looks as thou its your backspacing thats gonna kill you without some kinda lift.
