So I have 33x13.50-15 tsl's on the ranger right now. Im going to need new tires sometime this summer. my problem is that i have a 15x12 rim. I'd like to go to a 35 because i have plans for the truck later this summer. Could i put a 12.50 wide tire on a 12" wide rim? Most sites suggest you run a 8-11" rim. Or if anyone is runing a 14.50 on there truck or have ran a 14.50 id like see some pics.

 

12.5 tire on a 12" rim is like running a 33x10.5 on a 10 it looks like /```\

 

I'm not getting those boggers so no help on the 14.5's but I wouldn't run 12.5 on 12" rim. That is just me

sucks man, those boggers would have been sweet! And i found some pics on the web, 12" rim with a 12.5 tire is deffinatly a no go.


2 sets, 16" fx4 5spoke and teardrops. but i dont want to run those.

 

What about getting new rims?

 

if it were me id sell the swampers on the wheels they are on, then buy new tires and wheels. im sure u could sell the swampers for easily enough to buy new wheels. every 16 year old with a jeep wants swampers to be cool. they are really easy to sell to the young and dumb, and someone with a trail rig might want them. i bet on the wheels they are on u could easily get 300-600 for them....

 

why not just run them till you get the tires you want

 

I still like the rims i have, it will be a month or two before i actually get new tires its looking like nitto mud grapplers 35x14.50-15. or i can get new rims 15x10s and 35x12.50-15 km2s for the same price...
