What size wheel is your spare mounted on?

My truck came with the 15" Edge-Plus alloys, but my spare is mounted on a 16" rim. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but I want to put a smaller spare under there to better fit with my rollpan and hidden hitch, but it seems like it would be easier if I have a 15" wheel to start with. Was there perhaps a problem with the bigger-for-03 front rotors that a 15" steel wheel wouldn't fit, but a 15" alloy would? And if I can verify that it would fit, would anyone want to trade their 15" wheel spare tire for my 16" mounted spare? Its never been used. hell, since I'm buying a new tire anyway, I'd trade my spare for a 15" spare wheel with NO tire! Local, obviously, I don't want to ship, and I'm sure I can get a tire to fit w/ the 16" wheel, it would just be easier and less silly looking on a 15".

Before anyone goes into a dissertation about how a smaller spare will burn up my traction lok, I already have tires 3-4" bigger than my factory full-size spare, so I would need to do the front tire shuffle anyway.

I'm pretty sure its the bigger 03 brake size.. but not sure..
my dad's 05 has 255/70R16's on it new.. spare is 235/75R16!!!
my 02 came with 245/75R16.. the spare is 235/75R15!!

The best thing I can think of wowak.. is borrow someones spare and try it.
I'm sure you can find one.

I also just notice that I have a 16" spare tire and I have the 15" Edge plus wheels. Would it be safe to drive on that? My rear driver side tire has a huge screw in it and I was wanting to just put the spare on instead of driving around with a clunking screw.

I called the dealer and they said bring it in and they'd see if they could work something out, so I'll see what happens.
