Ok, maybe it's just me, but I've never seen wheel weights like this before. They're full of steel "sand" that adjusts....um ok. I understand the concept of what they're supposed to do, but if they're on the ground, they can't do it too well. So I had 4 tires mounted on the new wheels i got for my car and this is what they used for sticky weights. Never heard or saw them before. I put them in the back of the truck, brought them home, put them in the basement and within the hour, all the weights fell off. So much for "Industrial strength tape" blah, I hate them. I'm going to call Monday and if they can't give me the old lead sticky weights, I'll get my money back and go somewhere else. The plastic stuff they're made of just doesn't stay in a curved position to stick to the inside of the wheels. Here's the link to their site. I'm not a fan. Just a heads up if any of you guys get these on your wheels, make sure they don't come off.

I hear that. The wheels weren't even on the car and they fell off lol You can make be a believer of most things, but these got a bad first impression out of me. I'm not impressed.

Even if they were installed again in perfect conditions and they never came off, I'd be looking at the inside of my wheels all the time, and that's not something I should need to do.

 

the best wheel weights are the standard outside the wheel mounted ones. no muss, no fuss.

 

people use airsoft pellets to balance tires...not sure i would trust those or them

 

Only thing i like about them is the Longhorn in the middle. Blah.

 

ill be using air soft pellets or similar to balance mine.

ive seen weights like that, if they clean the wheel surface they stick well.

I'm still not a fan. I'm not sure if the surface of the wheel was cleaned well enough, but if you hold them and try to arc them in the form of the wheel, they just try to straighten themselves.....which would lead me to believe that they'd be doing the same thing on the wheel and would eventually pull themselves off.
