He's definitely out of luck with the bolt circle. FWIW, the Level II Alcoa wheels measure 15x7 with 4.5" backspacing. I believe that all current factory Ranger wheels have the same width, offset and backspacing.

i agree and i didnt think 4.5 = 135 mm for the bolt pattern

Correct, the 135mm bolt circle will not work on a Ranger.

If you could get the same wheel with the correct 5 on 4.5" bolt circle, the 4.5" backspacing would place the inner lip of the wheel in the same location as the stock wheel and the outer lip would be farther 1" out, due to the wider 8" width. The tire tread would be moved 1/2" out from the factory location.

doesnt that depend on the offset too? they could be in further yet right? or farther out.

The backspacing (#5 below) is the distance from the mounting face to the innermost part of the rim width. If 2 wheels have the same BS and diameter, the inside of the rim is in the exactly the same place.

The offset (#7 below) is the distance from the centerline of the rim to the mounting face. It is mathematically related to the width and backspacing but, if 2 wheels have the same offset but different widths, the backspacing is not the same. That's because the wheel lip-to-centerline distance is different on a wider wheel as compared to a narrower one.

Factory Ranger wheels have 12mm positive offset, 7" width and 4.5" BS.

I got a quick question.

I fell in love with a pair of offroad rims, problem is they ONLY come in 8 lug versions. My question is could i get a custom set of spacers or w.e. made?
