Teflon wheels

If nothing sticks to teflon and metal ruins the teflon how do you balance them? Just beads or what?

I believe that just to outside of the rim (the part you actually see) is teflon coated, the whole rim is not teflon. Stick on weights would go on the inside of the rim and stick on the uncoated alum.

the whole wheel is coated but the stick on weights work as long as you clean the spot youre putting them on, but you have to do that nomatter what the rim is made of. The rims I have are actually built so that you CAN'T use rim weights on the outside of it... theres no lip to it like most rims.

I just thought the stickons wouldn't last on teflon i mean it is a non-stick material. And i use to have rims on my gti that required the stickons also.

your thinking way to hard on the teflon part. sticks on work fine. beads will work, but its trial and error.
