Getting new tires

I am going to be having some money coming to me and need new tires.
the mud terrains i bought were used and the only downside was that 1 was wore bad on the inside, now its pretty slick.
Thinking about Trxus MT, good ole buckshots, or some type of all terrain.
Getting a alignment and have them check the balljoints and brakes.
any opinion on any of these for normal street use since thats going to be main usage?
i drive 50 miles round trip to work a day.

size will be 265-75-16.

i would recommed going with a 285x75x16 personally. but thats up to you.. the trxus MT is nice but it will wear faster then the buckshot, BFG a/t will be your longest lasting tire but will run you a pretty penny alot of guys have the procomp a/t 285x75x16 and like it alot...

edit just noticed you have a 3.0L so sorry secound thought do the 265x75x16...

I've had the procomp all terrains, and i cant say enough how great they were for everyday driving which would be ice/rain/snow/dirt/mud/gravel/etc. Now i have the Pro comp M/T's which are just as great, i love them. I havent got a chance to test them as good because they are new.

mtr's are 211 bucks each.
im going to go look at pro comp tires more at 4wp.
if i had 15 inch rims i would consider the xterrain.
265 is the max i want to go.

if you use your truck as a daily drive like it sounds i would get the BFG All-Terrains.....the Pro Comp tires have had destruction problems.......i had a set of BFG AT's that i ran for about 40k miles and they still prolly had another 10-15k in them......they wear great, ride smooth, and handle like a champ in mud, snow, and anything else you will drive in! besides they are the same price as the Pro Comp tires so why not get a better tire?

my vote has to go with BFG... put on the all-terrains this summer and love them. Done some mild off-roading and had no probs. I too drive lots of road and they seem to be lasting much longer than my rt/s's did.

I'm in this pickle too, and I'm looking at the BFG's, Nitto Terra Graplers, or MT ATZ's. I also drive quite a bit to work and home so I need something I won't be replacing every 25K miles. Check those out and see what you think.

BFG's are a good road/trail tire, but not that great for mud, so if you like to mud don't go that route.
