Strange tire wear..help please
I have hankook dynapro mts on my truck and they might have 2500 miles on them. The front to tires have not wore a bit, but the passenger side rear is wearing the lug on the outside. If anyone has seen the tires it is wearing the outside lug and the outside v lug. The inside lugs including the inside v lug are fine with the same amount of tread on the front. I swapped tires from left to right on the rear to see if it was maybe a belt in the tire but it is doing the same to the other tire. It is wearing it out fast.
I have new shocks on the truck. They might have 1000 miles on them. Anyone have a idea? I really need some insight because all the shops around here can not tell me what is causing it. I would like my 600 dollar tires to last 30,000 miles LOL...at this rate I might get 10000 due to that one side.

Thats the right rear. You see the line in the one v lug and the all rubber of another. That tire has only been on there a week. I didnt think they could check rear alignment. I know my front is out but those tires are not even wearing. Its kinda backwards. Also thats with 40psi, they are rated at 50psi cold. My automechanics teacher told me 7-10 lbs below the cold rating/

when you take off or burn out its the right rear that becomes unweighted due to the torque running through the gears and transfering. thats why it always spins on a open differential. other thing that could be going on is you have a bent axle flange, or if you messed with the rear leaf springs such as putting blocks in you might not have it centered and your "dog tracking" down the road which makes the rear end scrub.

I checked my axle bearings since my stepdad said that might be it and they are fine, no slack in them. Guess i can go take the rear tire off again and check the flange. If its not that then im just going to say i need to find a set of leafs since thats the only part i have not replaced in the rear haha.
