1992 Ford Ranger and a 1" body lift? Need input
Hey guys I have a 92 4x4 ranger with a manual and 4.0. I'm new to the forum and have a disturbingly strong connection to my truck.
Problem: Most of the rubber blocks and bolts holding the cab/bed to the frame are either disintegrated or missing. Obviously I need to fix this. I figure while I'm replacing these I might as well throw a 1" BL on there.
I was just reading about this and found the answer to most of my questions. One thing is that the site said to "put the lifting pucks on top of the factory bushings." Are these factory bushings the rubber blocks that are already on the truck and already destroyed(in my case)? If so, what size lift blocks should I order to counter this? And any ideas on where to first individual 1" lift blocks?
