Ford Ranger 3 inch body lift and 32's

I just put new tires on my 2002 Ford ranger Edge 4x4. The bigger tires look good but rub when i turn too sharp. I wanted to see if anyone was running a 3 inch body lift with 32x11.50 and if they still rubbed. i would love to see some pics to get a feel for what it will look like before i do it. thanks. will post pics tomorrow

you won't rub at all with 32's and a body lift. did you put those tires on stock wheels, or aftermarket wheels?

I had a 3" body lift on my truck with a 2" add a leaf in the rear and could have easily fit 35s if i wanted to but I ran 33x12.5R15 on 15x10 mickey thompson wheels

Shouldn't rub at all. I run 33x12.50's with a body lift, but they're also on 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspacing. Where are you rubbing at? Under what circumstances?

If he's running a stock rim he has the potential to rub the sway bar. I do with a 31" tire and stock rim.

Yea that's what I was thinking. Those stock rims have no "poke" as Pedro would say.

I didn't rub with stock wheels and 32" x 11.5" tires. Even in extreme off-road articulation there was no rub. I do have the Alcoa wheels but I don't think they have any different offset but I could be wrong. I have a 1.5" T-bar crank, maybe that helped.

When I switched to 33" x 10.5" tires, I did get some rub on the wheel well liners at near full turn. I bent the front mud flap brackets to get more clearance and the rub went away. I have not taken it off-road yet with the 33" tires but I am thinking I may need to do a 1/2" to 1" body lift to make sure it does not rub at full articulation while turning.
