We drilled out the passenger side rear body mount. Is it okay to get a long bolt and put a nut on the bottom of it? I was worried about compressing the bushing and flexing my body but maybe Im just being crazy. What should I do?
that will be fine, but in the long run i think i would get a new nut from Ford.

just make sure its torqued down to spec.

BTW I torqued all my bolts down to 90ft/lbs, the recommended 55 is ehh...

Ya I torqued mine pretty darn tight too I dont want any noise lol But ya I was just worried about squishing that bottom bushing using a nut...hopefully it will be alright Did you cut off the ends of your frame where the bumper mounts for your foglights? Thats some thick freakin metal

is says in the instructions if you have fog lights you have to cut the ends of the frame to clear them. I think it may be because I have the much larger fog lights than ya'll do thats all I can figure out I just dont really wanna go chopping on my dern frame

its not an issue on all trucks i know 3.0L it isnt a problem at all atleast on a 98 that is... and on the 4.0L SOHC you just move it out of the way and its fine...

not sure on the 2.3L look in your engine bay and find where its at

Rear hitch

I saw a guy who left his rear tow hitch at stock height, but mounted two rectangular fog lights on top.
Kinda fills the visual gap below lifted bed, looked good.
