Body lift question

My old man bought a body lift for the old 87 ranger. It's a 3" body lift. Now, since he just bought my brother 2005 F-150, he doesn't need the lift and wants to know if it will fit on my 2001 Ford Ranger.
Specs, 1987 Ford Ranger, 4x4. 2.9L STOCK
2001 Ford Ranger, 4x4. 4.0L SOHC, Torsion Bar Crank, 31x10.5 BFG All Terrains.

What kind of BL is it? Depending on brand you can look on the net and see what years it will fit which you may have already done. Looking at performaceaccessories.com they are different part numbers between model year.

only problems youll run into are the bumper brackets and shift extensions (if youll need them and some automatics require the extension). the lift itself and bolts will work.

better to sell the kit he has and order one made for your truck, you dont want to have your cab and bed off, and find out you need to mail order a specific part

Im not sure what all needs relocated on an 01, but the kit for the 87 doesn't have any bumper brackets and you should check part numbers for steering extension and make sure your not missing any other parts for stuff that needs lengthened on the 01
