body lift question. part differences?

just got a hold of a PA 3" lift for an 01 to 06 ranger. ive got a 98. Does anyone know the difference between these two kits? It would seem that they would remain the same, minus maybe a few differences in bumper brackets.

i think there both pretty much the same kit. i do remember seeing something about the washers being a little bigger. so the 01-06 kit could be a little better.

i think the 98-current frames are the same except maybe a few 2wd with coil springs but the body lifts are still the same.

What are you up to Nate. You get your front end fixed yet?

The lift is the same except for the bumper brackets.

fuel extensions are different sizes as well.

flaresides do not need the extensions tho, idk what you have.

bumper brackets are a shade different but not much.

I've got the style side. I can check with my buddy and see if he has still got his from his 98, since he has a flareside. If he doesnt, I could just got find the metal and make my own. I got this BL for free by the way, so im going to make it work one way or the other. So the bumper brackets being different...do you think they would still work on the 98? or am I going to have to make new brackets. I already plan on making a new back bumper, so that would be too much of an issue, and might decide to make a new front bumper as well, if the brackets dont work out.

Been doing alright man, just working on getting the truck ready for this summer. front end is still not fixed, Im running the cv that broke over to napa today for them to warrantee it, then after that, its a matter of getting that new yoke. Do you still have some of those bolts for the t-bar? I need to figure out how to get the broken one out first.

ok, everything else should work except as, zabeard said, are the fuel extensions and the other hose that comes in the kit. So its one or two options with the fuel extensions. I can either go out and buy some stainless tubing for the project. or go to the auto store and just get new hoses cut 3" longer. Which do you beleive would be easier/better/cheaper?
