Guide for a bodylift??

I was thinking about getting a body lift for my ranger. I don't really know that much about lifting trucks. I was wondering if there was a guide somewhere online that would walk me through the lift.

the only thing that would need to be welded is the crush blocks for the bed i believe. no one does, some hardly put them on. The weight of the bed and tighten bolts will keep in in place.

Yeah welding? you don't need to weld anything, the bed smashes those blocks in enough... Read that thread that was posted above..

A body lift is actually pretty simple - just takes a good head, some basic tools.. a couple chunks of wood to protect the body when your lifting it with a jack, and a basic instructions guide comes with it - so you just start at the beginning and work your way through - has pictures and everything!

Why is a body lift question in the suspension tech section?

Maybe Downy thought he was doing a suspension lift?

Maybe Downy spoke without fully reading the OP's question?
