Help installing a 3" BL
 

Well, I wasn't exactly sure where to put this thread...so i just put it here in suspension tech

I just bought a 3" summit BL and I was wondering if any of you would be willing to help me install it. I have an 06 fx4

I live in southern Indianapolis, in an apartment complex....so my place wouldn't be the best, but I am more than willing to travel a little ways

I am available basically on all weekends, if any of you are willing to help, please let me know

Thanks....I will supply drinks/maybe a grill and food since I probably won't be much help

I know several body lifts have been done in the Detroit area before and there a quite a few helpful members around. I am willing to help with an install sometime if you find a place to do it at.

if you can come to my house, in livonia. MI 48152, on saturday september 23rd, we were going to do a BL and it got cancelled....we can do it then. if you look through past threads i have done quite a few of them and we can do them pretty efficiently

sept 23rd? that would be a Wednesday (and short notice haha) but give me an updated date if possible, and that is about a 5 hr drive...I know there are quite a few indiana members on here so I will give it a few days before I give you a definite answer

no prob, just a few requests for doing a BL at my house:

1. Please bring a clean truck, inside and out, not like washed and waxed, but no mud or crap inside, no tonneau/campertop/bedcover

2. Please bring cash for Bates burgers, they only accept cash and food for the helpers is a must!

3. Please make sure everything is there in your BL kit so things go smoothly, and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ATLEAST TWICE!

Truck is clean, bedcover isnt installed yet, will bring cash, and kit isnt opened yet (still in gfs car)

so far so good! haha

I'll be there helping too. The MI Bodylift crew is very experienced and we can knock it out quicker than a shop you would pay.

and it will cost you significantly less than a shop, food, any donation to give the rents for the air compressor and lights being on all day....seems better than 4wp wanting like $800 or whatever
