Will a 3" Body Lift compromise payload capacity?

I'm thinking about getting a 3in. PA body lift but i'm wondering if getting a body lift compromises the payload capacity of the rear bed, thanks.

Yeah you should be good. I don't know why it would. Only thing that would change, is your bumper. If you lift the bumper you can't pull with it anymore. But just buy a hitch if you don't already have one.

I've towed off my body lifted bumper a lot. The only issue is i don't tow anything huge or whatever. Just things like snowmachine on trailer and jetski, etc. Actually now that I think about it, imight've towed some heavy **** around..

yah i towed my project jeep on it, including backing it up into a trailer which was a weird thing to do. None the less, it held up just fine.

also there's some little metal "blocks" in the kit that say "weld these between the frame and bed"(i think they say that). You don't need to weld them in, just sit them in position and they will be held in just fine.

You can use some silicone to hold them in place-just put a glob of it on the frame before you drop the bed down and tighten it. That should keep them from flying out. I would think that if you didn't use the block, then the bed capacity would be compromised. Not that I've gotten around to putting mine in yet!

No the bed capacity isn't compromised. I guess you haven't opened the kit, those blocks aren't super thick or anything.

Yah well I do know it's not a hitch lol. It's bolted on via 4 bolts and also I've been rear-ended and didn't get damaged.
