Tow Hook Mod

To all of you guys who have modded the LVL II hooks, what material did you use for the riser plates? Also, the hooks are stainless steel correct? I'm going to be making these plates soon but I need to know what to use before I waste material and time on the waterjet.

Why won't regular steel work?
Or even like a hard rubber like a spacer is made out of?

No. It doesn't say anything about the riser plates. All is says is that you'll need a riser plate.

I would just use steel of the same thickness as the the steel that the tow hooks are currently welded too

Better get some 1/2" thick alien grade titanium for all that hardcore wheeling you do.
