Have a 1994 ford ranger 2.3. Runs fine with alternator disconnected but as soon as I hook it up it starts running rough and backfiring. I have checked for vacuum leaks and replaced the alternator. Replaced just about everything I can think of. I searched the forums and didn?t really see anything.

anyone else have a issue like this?
