2.5L Fuel Filter Mounting Bracket Replacement
 

For anyone interested, the Motorcraft FG1701 fuel filter mounting bracket works with the 2.5L fuel filters. The mounting bracket on my fuel filter was completely corroded and broken, and I couldn't find another bracket specific for a 2.5L filter. The Motorcraft FG1701 filter looked similar in size and came with a mounting bracket so I thought I'd try it, and the bracket fits perfectly on my 2.5L filter.

Seems this same size FuelFilter+Bracket was used for an array of Years+Engines;
appears to be same as on my 2001 V6~4.0L~SOHC.
