2001 2.5 rough idle after

so I have a 2001 Ranger 4x2 with a 2.5 engine it has 91,000 miles on it. I just bought it from a neighbor. long story short I bought it and hauled it back to my place. it has s dead battery. it fires up and runs idles as soon as you give it gas it runs really rough hesitates falls on its face and dies. when you try to start it again it cranks and sounds really odd like there is no compression. I can unhook the battery and it will fire back up and idle again. as soon as I give it throttle it runs like crap and dies. and the system repeats.

things I have done or checked.

I have I started with checking the plugs. all original they broke as I took them off..the people who had it changed the passenger side plugs and not the drives side.... you can't make this up. there was one spark plug on the driver's side one I took it out it literally separated. anyways I put plugs and wires in it same situation fires up idles I give it throttle it chugs then dies. fire it up and it runs rough. you can throttle thru it but soon as you take your foot off the pedal it tries to dies.

I checked compression but with one of those tools where it has the wedge rubber cone tip. I I do dny have the right adapter to thread in the spark plug hole. with that being said I could only get 95ish psi on all 4. that's about all I could hold before it kinda blew the compression tester out of the hole. with that being said I know the compression should be higher I believe but if the way I tested it and the numbers really close to each other then thats a good thing. i realize I should get the long 14mm compression adapter and get more accurate number . but I wasn't too horribly concerned because the numbers were fairly close.
i dug down and got to the timing belt. it looked aged but the timing marks for the cam and car and we're dead on. the oil pump marks were well the pulley was just past the mark favoring the driver's side.

there was two vac hoses that were collapsed one that goes from valve cover to throttle body and one that goes from like a metal pipe around the intake to the drivers fender well. I replaced both. I also checked the pcv it moves freely and the hose is not collapsed.

I checked the EGR and applied vacuum and it moved freely.

I also checked the fuel pressure it's 64-70 ish.

I have also had it idling and sprayed everywhere with starting fluid to see if I could find any vac leaks
.. nothing

I let it warm up for about 10-15 mins and unplugged the iac. the engine died.

also I did the injector flood test or whatever where you hold your door to the floor and crank. it did not start.

also I have unplugged each coil pack and still have the same conditions. the one pack closest to the firewall has crack where the mounting screws are and the plug is like peeling back away from the pack itself. I am tempted to replace both of them.

one thing I havent really checked is the tps sensor.

last but not least there are no codes.

hopefully this isn't butchered too much I'm just looking for insight or help. any of which would be greatly appreciated.
