2007 2.3 no heat

Hello n thanks for any help you can give me. I can't get the heater to work. I've flushed the core checked the heater valve the plunger moves as it should. I have hot hoses going into core and out to pump. Truck stays at halfway mark when warmed up. Air works fine. Checked the fuses all ok. Does this sound like a faulty door issue? I can hear the doors move all the positions seem right (turn to defrost works, floor works, all positions are working). The book I purchased doesn't do a breakdown or detail of the heater box. Any help is greatly appreciated. If this is covered within another topic I apologize hard to get a good search from my phone... Tks, badcreek

Welcome to the forum

Not an uncommon problem on Ford Trucks and a few car models

It is the electric Blend Door, either it's motor has failed or the tab on the door that hooks to motor has broken off.

Google: Ford ranger blend door video

1995 and up will be pretty much the same as 2007

The Blend door is operated by the TEMP knob, this door covers the heater core to block air from passing thru it in the COLD position, and then opens up all the way so ALL air passes thru the heater core in the HOT position.
And any points in between for cooler or warmer air

To fix it you have to remove the whole dash, so watch the videos to see what other have done to get at the actuator(electric motor) and the blend door itself
