biggest motor xl model?
whats the biggest motor i can get for the xl 2 wheeldrive ranger? 3.0 or 4.0?

just asking if they come with a bigger engine thats all? on the ford ranger catalog it says required on 4x4 supercab, wasnt sure if it comes on the 2 wheeldrive model.

no you can get a 4.0L in a XL is a fleet vehical usually

Not true. I wanted a reg cab, stick, 4.0 . I Begged borrowed and pleeded. When My truck came, they had 2 choices, cut off the extra cab and repaint it, or drop a few grand off the pricetag.

They sure didnt take a toarch to it.

Reg cab 4.0's are VERY RARE. I've seen 3 in my entire looking. Q in florida had one that was Auto, one was for sale from a link posted here ( and was a stick too! ) and the last was an auto-zone truck.

You can get a 4x2 with a 4.0 XL, but only with an extended cab... According to Ford's website...

i like the xl in that light gold color with the 5-speed manual 2.3. now all i have to do is find one?.
