cold start question
cold start question
when i first start up my truck after its been sitting (usually over night) but at least several hours, it doesn't idle immediately without me giving it some gas... Its an 05 with a 2.3L duratec and 5 speed manual.... Usually i have to sort of tap the gas or feather it a little bit to keep it from dying the first time i start it...
I did a quick video of it yesterday - and hope that maybe this gives you an idea... but soon as it fires up and idles a second it runs great... the truck has just under 40k miles, and its always done this (a little bit) but seems to be more and more as time goes on... I asked on a couple other ranger forums but never get any replies... So figured I'd try here and see if anyone could help me out...
