Firewall hole

Firewall hole

I cant find the dang firewall hole for my 2001 reg cab can someone help me out and give me some pics for me to look at

firewall hole?? theres a lot of them what might you be looking for in the firewall if your runing lights the easest thing to do is drill a new hole.

Yup, remember that there are important things mounted on the interior side of that fire wall you don't want to drill through.

Its really easy, unbolt the fuse box and move it out of the way. Now you have a lot of metal behind that on the firewall with nothing behind it. Just drill a hole, stick in a grommet and your good to go.

If your just routing a couple wires...just slice a hole in your steering shaft boot and route through there...I still have my 4ga amp wire going through there.



No finished pics yet....but......this is a proper way to route wiring through a firewall.....

Thats exactly where I did mine as well, great location. Theres enough room to drill multiple holes right there.

When I mounted the lights on my light bar I had wires running below the cab I tagged the interior wires off and ran them into the cab. There is a place that has a foam material that goes right in the driver's kick panel. I wire loomed everything and taped it so I know mine is okay.
