missing 2.3

I have a 86 ranger 2.3l anyway it somtimes will miss when giving it gas. if your driving along and say go to pass somone this is when it happens. it kind of sputters when speeding up. and for some reason it dose it worse the warmer it is out 65 degrees and it runs great 80 and its you cant give it over half throttle.
please help I am tired of throwng parts at this problem

1) Check your spark plugs. Clean and regap or replace if nec.

2) Check your plug wires. I had this happen on my F150 - it would run fine until I put it under a load and then it would miss. I checked my plugs, then I check my wires. One of the terminals going into the coil pak was burned half off and green from all the arcing. Replaced wires and ran fine.

Check/Replace plugs and wires first.
