My Ranger has developed an issue of no power after sitting over night. Starts fine but will not make power. Kinda feels like maybe the catalic converter is plugged. Has a slight gas smell and a bit of backfiring letting off the gas trying to rev it up. The cat was replaced a few years back and the engine has a fresh rebuild and usually runs strong. Any ideas?
