I have a 2000 ford ranger 2.5 engine. First time im changing it. Does it take 5w30 or 5w20?

Under 100k miles 5w20, over 100k miles 5w30

my manual says 5w30. But I was reading that fors changed their mind after release to 5w20. Truck has 131k

Stick with 5w30 over 100k
