I'm in need of some of help. Hopefully someone can help.
I have a 1999 Ranger 2.5L that loses power steering sometimes.
Like if I'm going down the road and turning onto a side street then its tough to turn. But, if I'm at a red light and turn giving it gas its fine.
this does it turning left or right and the counter steer returning to center after a turn is always rough with little to no power steering.
I checked the fluid and it smelt burnt. So, i went and got a turkey baster and sucked what i could out then added more drove it some then sucked again and repeated this 4 times now. still same issue with power steering. Please help.
