just asking how you managed to cross thread a spark plug
always use a extension and your fingers to screw in a spark plug jiggle the plug while you finger screw the plug in ( get your mind out the gutter ) LOL when it will no longer turn with your fingers,, then switch to your wratchet to finally tighten it |
I'm pretty sure i ust have terrible luck. its not my first time changing plugs. I did just that. Took it out. gapped the new one and started threading it in by hand. Now usually when chross threading starts is right at the very first. but i got the plug 1/3 the way in with my hand before it stopped. putt the rachet on it and it wouldnt move. Took out the new plug and put the old one back. and the same thing.. I know its not seated properly because I can see the threads on the plug when I look through the wheel well. Its cylinder 5 to. The easiest one to change. PS the was suspose to be in 4.0 L tech. Some how it ended up here?
