2 noises....dont know what they are

I've got a couple noises I need to figure out. The first one is sounds like its comming from the transmission area.......It only happens when you are at the lowest rpm for the gear. For example, first gear, when you let out on the clutch without giving it gas, then mash the gas, it will make kind of a rattle/ growl noise. If your in 2nd gear and slow down to about as slow as you can go in 2nd, then mash the gas some, it will make the noise. It quickly goes away as soon at the rpms pick up to maybe around 1300rpms or so (just guessing cause I dont have a tach). Im thinking has something to do with the clutch, but im not sure. The second noise is when the engine is idleing.....it idles fine, and sounds normal, but there is a noise that sounds like water driping into a bucket of water. There is no pattern to the noise, it just does it at its own pace, although it doesn't stop.

The transmission noise is normal, it is kinda rattly sounding when I get the RPM's down below 1500, it's just the way these lovely mazda transmissions sound :) I'm not sure about the other one though

The noise that your hearing that sounds like a water dripping into a bucket is thr sound of your oil pressure moving oil around the engine. I can hear the same on mine when it idles. Nothing to worry about.

The first noise is common with low RPM's....not to worry.

As for the "water drop into a bucket of water" noise......you got me.
