trouble code help

I just got the codes out of my truck and don't know where to begin to try to fix what's wrong.

Codes are - continues memory, 18 IDM circuit failure or spout circuit grounded , 33 egr valve opening not detected, 66 maf snesor went below 0.4 volts during last 80 warm up cycles and also tot sensor output was less than self- test mininum of 0.15 volts , 88 loss of dual plug input control

KOER, 98 hard fault present, 18 spout circuit open or spark angle work failure

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Just went out after unhooking the battery and letting it set for a while got the following codes

CM - 18
KOER - 98,18

The other night the check engine light went out and the tach started reading right. But now it's back on and the tach reads lower than what it should. Any ideas?

I'm trying to find my repair manual now. If I can find it it has all the codes/diagnostics

Cool!! Will a bad Throttle position switch cause a code to show? The reason I ask is because my truck runs rough until the throttle get to a certain point. From then to full throttle is acheived, it runs great. Seems to run rich, I can see a lot of smoke when I floor it and it's really screaming. I checked it with an ohm meter and the needle moved smoothly but can't figure out why is runs rough. It's worse when you first start in in the morning. Should I try changing the throttle position switch of could it be the coolant temperature switch?

Mines running rich right now and it's because I have bad oxygen sensors and it causes it to run rich and blow some smoke and is rough in the low rpms. Sounds like you may have the same prob.

And is your Ranger a dual over head cam or single? I found the manual.

Shoot. Sorry. Mines 1993-2005. My bad. If you go to your local Advanced Auto Parts they have the repair manuals for $20. They're an absolute life saver. Couldn't live with out it.

Mines a SOHC. The first thing I did was change the O2 sensor. Didn't help anything. I'm going to have to get a repair manual. I got all the trouble codes from here, someone posted a couple links. I just don't know where to look to start fixing. Like where do I look for the grounded spout circuit? Could cracked coils affect anything? The coil for the passenger side has some cracks on the corners. I wouldn't think that would make it run that bad though.

Thanks again!!
