type of motor is this?

hey guys I just wanted to get a experienced answer i really dont know much about ford rangers.

Just by looking at the picture can anyone tell me what year this motor is from? I believe its from a ford ranger i did some google searches and it looks like it. Pretty much i own a ford focus that has a blown motor and i need a new motor for it. obviously our intake manifolds are different but is this the same motor? (2.3 duratec) Then if it is a 2.3 motor i mean the same size internals and other stuff are they the same as the focus 2.3 motor? Can anyone give me specs? compression piston sizes rod lengths.

Thanks for your help.
