weird Running Issues
 
so had a rough idle and would sputter while driving replaced wires and plugs and still the same the MAF is fairly new but everything is fine until i get up to about 30+ MPH and then its almost like a cylinder goes dead and it sounds like a lawnmower and wants to die when i slow to a stop sign or slow to take a corner after that its runs like pure butt i had a codes p0303 misfire on cylinder #3 but it cleared after changing plugs also had p0340 for Camshaft Postion Sensor A-Bank 1 circuit malfunction

sorry that was a lot but i need help Quick please any help is appreciated thanks

also where is the camshaft postion sensor on my motor? 2001 2.5L

Hmmm.... My buddy has a 96 jimmy that did that to him. All it was was the cat was full and needed to be replaced. Now he had the kind of cat that doesnt have a drain. I dont know about ours though. But thats all i can think of bro

Injector, maybe.

If it has 8 plugs, and you get a "no spark" on #3, you need to determine which plug isn't firing - intake plug or exhaust plug. That way you know which coil is bad. I've seen bad ignition modules cause a coil to malfunction, but with an ignition problem on the dual plug engines you normally get stored ignition codes. Could still be a dirty injector.
