'00 Idle Speed

What the normal Idle Speed for a 2000 3.0 Automatic 4x4?

dakota772 07-15-2008 05:57 PM

950rpm or somewhere near there, but I turned my down a little with my X-Cal2. I may be wrong, does anyone here know for sure?

Mazdaman99 07-15-2008 09:42 PM

i think between 750 and 800 rpms at idle

Thanks for the replies.

Mine idles a hair over 900, and it seems high.

I haven't owned an automatic in a long time, and I'm used to standards having a lower idle speed in general.
