Just picked this truck up with 153,000 miles and not sure of previous maintenance done. The vehicle has a slight hesitation when accelerating hard. Also if the vehicle stalls it does not start unless it sits for several minutes. If you try to start it right away, you can smell gas up to 15 feet away from the vehicle like its just pouring gas into the cylinders and won't start.

I have an appointment with my local dealer to have it looked at but would rather do the work myself if I can isolate the problem(s). Any advice or information is greatly appreciated.

 

Also it isn't throwing any CELs when this is happening. Gonna try new wires, plugs, and coil pack and run some injector cleaner through it. Any ideas why when it stalls it won't start for a while? If I try it just keeps trying to start and smells like I have a gas leak.
