JBA Header Stainless Steel 3.0L 1998-2007

Anybody have these? What's your outlook on them? Any good? Worth the money?

I heard headers tend to come loose when you offroad your truck.

What's everyones opinion on them? I'm about to buy them off stuffforyourranger.

Thanks.

So they do come loose? You only have to re-tighten them a couple times before they will stick?

Well metal expands/contracts when it goes through heat cycles. There is a possibility that they may loosen after going through a few heat cycles. They will probably stay tight, but you should retorque them for safe measure.

well yes when you put a header on any truck they tend to loosen at first...but i have heard that they are a pain in the a$$ to keep tight and keep gaskets on them. but the only feedback i have heard is on older truck and stuff

I had an easy time with mine but others have expressed a hard install. It probably has as much to do with tool assortment and "state of mind". lol.

There is one tip i can give you. One header bolt hole is slotted, which means you can start the bolt and then slip the header over it. If you DON"T preinstall this bolt, the bolt will not go in.
