I've never heard anything good about chips for these trucks.

Do you have a link?

a $399.99 chip marked down to $69.00?

Sounds like a load of crap to me

But I don't have experience in this kind of stuff, most people here get tuners

Apparently it fits all 2dr or ex cab trucks in a given year regardless of make? For every year? I would stay away.

Quote from the link:
"is connected via two wires that plug into the AIT sensor"

This is an old trick. Changing the resistance of the Air Intake Temperature sensor fools the PCM into thinking the air temp is warmer than it actually is. The PCM responds by leaning the fuel mixture.

I've read posts in the past that some had even submitted the values of resistors (purchased at Radio Shack for under a dollar) to connect in place of the AIT.
