No, not really
Ford 302/5.0l V8 fits in engine bay so is the best bet, it one if the smaller sized V8 engines, 19" wide, most are 25-30" wide
If you run a carb and distributor then you don't need the computer or wiring
Still need exhaust system, radiator
You can use M5OD-R2 manual trans or an AOD automatic and then custom driveshaft
Also need to relocate transmission mount
If 3.0l is failing or failed, just replace it, and sell that Ranger
Buy a V8 Ranger already converted, way cheaper for most unless they have done a few engine swaps in the past
