ok i plugged the obd in and got 0174 cleaned sensore new filter ect found the vacuum leak on the pcv hose on the inside of the 90 degree angle coming of the manifold cover or thats what the mech called it but ultamtely i have 2 questions why is there oil leakin out where my pcv valve is and what is it that he was telling me he had to take off the manifold cover for in order to replace a sensor that that with part and labor was gonna cost me $650

you shouldnt need to replace that whole tube pull it out a little and add silicone around the edge and put it back in and just buy a piece of hose with the same curve to replace the part where its cut its leaking some oil probably due to the vacuum leak once you replace the hose it should stop

if your talking about the PCV Elbow going into the intake manifold you should be able to do it yourself. I did mine. You have to but the complete hose from Ford.

yea im gonna try the silicone thing this weekend and i found at auto zone that they have the elbow that connects the hose to the intake for 7 bucks now i also want the hose if im gonna replace it and i called ford and just for the hose/elbow they want 75 bucks that isnt right is it? and if so what else could i do
