3.0L V6 running rough

The original problem began a little over a year ago. I was driving home in the morning and my truck started kicking and jerking and the temp gauge was going nuts. Check engine light was on and read cylinder 1 misfire. I dropped it by a shop and they changed out the thermostat and changed plugs and wires. It ran rough off and on through the summer and I never thought anything of it. I would put some fuel injector cleaner in it and it would run good for a while, but would always begin again. When I turned the A/C on it seemed like it would make it run worse. Once the winter time got here though I didn't have a single problem. Ran perfect. Once it began to warm up again though the rough running started back. I don't know what is going on with it. Maybe Vacuum leak, maybe fuel injector malfunction etc. The coil pack is new. No check engine light ever pop up unless I put the A/C on and it says cylinder 1 misfire, but the check engine light will reset when I turn it off. If any one could help it would be greatly appreciated!

new plugs, new wires, new coil pack have been done.
If it was me i would check spark then do compression check if that checks out maybe sea foam through the booster and throttle body.
Change out the injector

Spark check is free. Compression check is free after you get your money back for loan a toal. That is why i put these first. My rule of thumb is check all the free/cheap stuff first. Maybe even swap out cylinder 1 and 2 plug wires. Maybe the shop ripped you off.

Okay great! Thank you! I will try all of that this weekend when I have a little more free time on my hands.

I was unable to work on it this weekend, but we just had a cold snap come through and it has been running fine since the cold weather began. The night it rained really hard it was at it's worst, but since that stopped and it has been cool I have had no issues. Will keep y'all updated.

When I got mine, it ran really rough and acceleration just wasn't there. I had some vacuum leak on the hoses that come off the DPFE going past the intake plenum. See if you can get your hands on a vacuum gauge. I think it is supposed to be around 17-18 inches @ idle.

I changed all 6 plugs and wires last night and when I left to start the day the truck had no issues. I will update in a few days if anything changes.

It has been roughly a week since changing all the plugs and wires and I have not had a single misfire. Looks like a fast one got pulled on me by Christian Brothers.
