exhaust systems

what would be a good dual exhaust system without breaking the bank

had straights and it sounded likea import above 3.5 4k rpms and like nothing more then like 175 200 max

flowmaster 40 series/44series welded past cat, with side dump on passenger side or downturn past flowmaster unit. under 50$ for it all ind she wont buss like a weedeater at any rpms and at lows itll have some god grunt after it breaks in

My 96 3.0 supercab needs some exhaust work also... The 'dual exhaust" on mine is the result of a y-pipe behind the current muffler, so it's of absolutely no functional value.

I was thinking universal muffler onto the flange behind the cats, then a 90 degree elbow, then straight out under the passenger's side of the bed in front of the rear tire.... would be cheaper with a glass-pack, but probably sound like crap. Shouldn't be very expensive at all - muffler, 3 clamps, 2 short pieces of pipe, and a hanger.

I vote Flowmaster 40. It will give you a nice deep note at lower rpms and won't sound like sh** at higher rpm.

I just picked up a flowmaster50 series for $35 nib,
Anybody run one of these on their 3.0 ranger?

iv been doin this all that they have is the oval shaped one and none of them fit

You could buy one on an online auto parts store then.
