87 ranger
 

I have a 1987 ranger with the 2.9 v6 it's a five speed manual transmission it's only got 980,000 miles on it, I just replaced the clutch plate and pressure plate! The slave cylinder is only a couple of weeks old! I can not get it to come out of second gear? What could be causing it and how would I go about fixing it

You give me hope. My 89 has 170,000 miles on it.
might need a rebuilt tranny?

No Ron says I just need to play with the shifter and rock the truck untill I get it back in neutral

I mis wrote that on the mileage it has 98.000 miles on it
